Our partners in this new venture Pip & Judy Stennett have firmly established their Dovecote Café as a well known venue for excellent quality food which is all produced locally.

Judy oversees the superb cuisine and Pip, as a breeder of champion pedigree cattle with a world wide reputation, uses his wealth of knowledge to ensure the Dovecote menu presents healthy wholesome food which attracts clients from a wide area.

This has been an exciting new project as it offers me, as resident artist, the opportunity to have another permanent exhibition of my work in addition to that showing at our Low Burnham Studio.

Art can be a very daunting subject however we are looking to make visitors feel comfortable and not afraid to ask questions on painting techniques and other aspects of the works on show. There will be lots of small original canvasses for children that will hopefully encourage them to have an interest in painting. 



I want to share my love of art through the gallery, the pace of life today is relentless and we often miss the most beautiful things that surround us, I hope to capture that beauty in any way that I can. Original works of art should be affordable to all and at Dovecote Gallery, in these difficult times we intend to offer excellent value in an amicable way.

I hope the gallery will supplement the excellent services offered by both the Café and the adjacent Grove House Stables Equestrian Centre. During the coming year we are looking to create an Art and Crafts Centre at the Dovecote complex which will include an additional purpose built facility to house more art workshops, exhibitions, seminars and conferences.
